Internships

ATP - Pathways partners with local businesses, non-profits, and volunteer organizations to provide opportunities for the students to learn job skills.

Skills learned through internships can be used to transition students from their school/community-based program to volunteer and paid job opportunities.

Each student will participate in an internship 2-4 days per week up to two hours each day.  Each internship rotation lasts 12 weeks.

Host an Intern

Thank you for considering the opportunity to host a student intern at your business!

Students in the Adult Transition Program - Pathways are placed in unpaid internships with local businesses based on each student’s strengths, interests, and independent skill level. These internships are a key component of the student's educational program. The goal of internships is to expose students to different fields of work, build students' resumes, increase job skills and employability, explore preferences, and foster independence and social skills at the workplace.

If you would like to host an intern or receive additional information please feel free to contact us.
