  • Cultural Competency Training for Administrators: Implemented cultural competency training for administrative staff during the 2015 – 2016 school year; planning year two for continued cultural competency training.
  • Cultural Competency Training for Staff: Develop plan and timeline to provide more comprehensive cultural competency training to staff over a multi-year period of time.
  • PBIS/MTSS Cohort Training: Continued to support the 11 schools currently participating in PBIS/MTSS work, initiated a Cohort 2 for 6 additional schools in the 2015-16 school year and will initiate 6 more schools in Cohort 3 in 2016 – 2017 school year.
  • Manifest Determination Training: Provided additional training and support for teams conducting manifest determinations around the nexus between student behaviors and underlying disabilities.
