Your Instructional Technology Coordinator (ITC) is a resource you can utilize to support with the integration of technology into instruction. ITCs are former classroom teachers and are eager to collaborate with you. ITCs are assigned to district pathways as outlined here:

Hi, I’m Maija Stein. I was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan and graduated from UM (sort of like UW if you look at it upside down - not to be confused with “the upside down”). I then lived in Los Angeles and worked in advertising for 11 years before moving to Washington State. I’ve worked in education for quite a while and it’s as exciting but less dangerous - most days - as loading dynamite, a summer job I had while in college. I have two children who work as a computer programmer and an urban planner, and my husband has his own network consulting business. I love Technology and the variety of staff I get to work with. NSD is always changing and challenging!
As the Manager of User Services in the Technology Department, I am committed to ensuring our team is aligned with the NSD Strategic Plan and the important work of teaching and learning. I am an NSD alumni (go Viks!) After college, I returned to NSD as a special education teacher at Westhill Elementary for 8 years. I discovered my passion for leveraging technology in teaching during my time at Westhill and then transitioned to a position as an Instructional Technology Coordinator in 2011. My history in Northshore has given me a unique perspective to lead the NSD User Services team in providing excellent support and service.
The NSD Tech Support Team is here to help NSD Staff with questions related to district technology including:
- computers and mobile devices
- software and productivity tools
- classroom presentation systems
- peripherals (printers, copiers, document cameras, ActivBoards, etc)
- phone repairs and service changes
- network jack activations/installations
NSD Technology Support is a resource for district staff. Parents and students with questions should contact their campus office staff.
