We are in need of two parents and two community members who are interested in serving on the Enrollment Demographics Task Force (EDTF). These voluntary positions are appointed by the Board of Directors and last for up to three years. Applications are due by November 30, 2018.
The Enrollment Demographics Task Force looks at demographic trends in the Northshore service area and determines the likely impact on schools, the size of the student body from year to year, and the district's ability to offer equitable programs and services to all students in all schools. All work is supported by a professional demographer and an urban planner.
The task force usually meets two times each month from October to June. Meetings are held from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Support Services Center. Applicants should be committed to attending all meetings.
Task force members will only be selected from those who apply. Ideal applicants will represent different geographic locations of the district and bring with them a wide range of ideas, experiences, and perspectives.
