May Construction Update: Elementary #21

The construction of Elementary #21 continues to make strides! During the month of May, 12 geo-wells were drilled, which will provide heating and cooling to the school. The kitchen, electrical room, mechanical room and gym all had insulation installed. Window frames were also installed throughout the building. The roof is nearly 90 percent complete. Masonry work is underway, along with site prep work for the athletic field. Following Memorial Day weekend, there will be nighttime work, to commence waterline construction along Maltby Road that will connect to the school. This nighttime work is expected to be complete by late July.
