Northshore Students Recognized by PTA Reflections Art Program

Northshore Students Recognized by PTA Reflections Art Program

Congratulations to the Northshore students who were recipients of this year’s WSPTA Reflections awards. The program supports the arts in Northshore School District and is sponsored by the Northshore Council PTSA.

Every year more than 300,000 students Pre-K through grade 12 create original works of art connected to a theme. The theme for the 2018-19 program was Heros Around Me.

Inglemoor junior Jenny Xiong placed at the National PTSA Reflections competition. Xiong received an Award of Excellence in Music Composition for her work “Blue Tempests.” She, along with other national level winners, will have her work featured in a traveling exhibition which will begin in January 2020 in Washington, D.C. and conclude in June 2020 in Louisville, Kentucky. Ten Northshore students were recognized for their work at the state level.
