Nomination Process

Nominations will be accepted January 16 through March 15 each year for consideration by the selection committee for inclusion on the Wall of Honor for that year. Nominees are considered based on the significant contributions they have made to our community, state, nation or world.

Student alumni and district staff nomination forms, which include nomination guidelines, can be downloaded below. A committee of alumni, community leaders and district representatives will select inductees. The new inductees will be added to the Wall of Honor in August of each year and recognized at a ceremony and reception at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell.

Nomination and Selection Criteria

In order for a nominee to be considered, he/she must:

  • for student alumni
    • have graduated from Northshore School District 15 or more years ago
    • have  a record of outstanding achievement that stands the test of time
    • have made significant contributions to the community, state, nation or world through good works or charitable beneficence
    • have exhibited leadership, character and/or service that inspires others
  • for retired staff
    • have retired or left the Northshore School District five or more years ago
    • have a record of outstanding achievement that stands the test of time
    • have made significant contributions or achievements that benefited the Northshore School District
    • have exhibited leadership, character and/or service that inspires others
